Plasterers 1 Thin Coat Plastering Machines

The rise in technology over recent years has meant that machines have started to do a lot of work for us. Most fields of technology and industries will probably sooner or later rely on machines to do many of their daily taks. For plastering, one of the innovations that leads to that direction is the thin coat plastering machine. These machines ensure that you are able to coat materials on any wall evenly, and that each area on the wall will receive the same thickness of the applied material. You can calculate the right ratio of materials and primer, input it into the machine and let the machine mix and apply it.

Plasterers 1 Stop Shop sells 3 such machines. The M-tec M200 Pro Set (complete with accessories), priced at £8,406.00. The M-tec M100, priced at £7,080.00. And the EZE 24, which is priced at £4,318.80.

The M-tec M200 Pro

German manufacturer M-tec created the M200, using their best engineers in collaboration with Plasterers 1 Stop Shop’s Andrew Hill. The machine was created with their insight, as well as “priorities and productivity the UK specification” in mind. Known as the AJH Design, they also included the feedback, opinions, priorities, and needs of their customers, who will be the ones using the machine.

They’ve identified five goals with the designing of this machine:

  • Method, ease and practicality of use
  • Overall effectiveness and performance
  • Economical concept
  • Working volume
  • Focus on design and practicality

Also from the same company, Plasterers 1 Stop Shop offers the M-Tec M100 thin coat machine. Just like the M200, it can be used to split a big range of products, from thin coat plasters to thin coat renders to coatings for EWI systems. It is marketed as easy to use and an easy to clean machine. It has, however, a lower output compared to the M200:

Also from the same company, Plasterers 1 Stop Shop offers the M-Tec M100 thin coat machine. Just like the M200, it can be used to split a big range of products, from thin coat plasters to thin coat renders to coatings for EWI systems. It is marketed as easy to use and an easy to clean machine. It has, however, a lower output compared to the M200:

  • The M100 has an output of only 14L/min, compared to the M200’s 18L/min
  • The M100 has a pumping range of only 15m, compared to the M200’s 25m
  • It can operate in the same power as the M200, at 110v.
  • It is, however, lighter than the M200. The M100 weighs at 79 kg while the M200 weighs at 115 kg.

It is, at least, more portable than the M200 and can be collapsed into several parts that you can easily store at the back of any vehicle and be transported to any location they desire.

EZE 24

Another machine sold by Plasterers 1 Stop Shop is the EZE 24, a thin coat plastering machine that runs at 110v, same as the first two machines, that suitable for mixing and spraying different materials, such as thin coat renders, scratch renders, basecoats, and topcoats. It uses a traditional rotor and stator to pump material to a newly designed spray gun. Originally designed to spray EWI material, the machine could even spray plaster, hardwalls, and renders.

The EZE 24 has special features:

  • A brand new designed spray capable to automatically shutting down.
  • It has a variable speed control.
  • It features great compatibility with EWI products
  • It weighs only 46 kg.

Are They Practical?

Thin coat machines are very practical, especially when you’re in the plastering or construction business. They are easy to use, easy to clean, and easy to transport. They usually come with a comprehensive manual. And with the spray, you can coat the walls evenly without worrying that you’ve coated one area too much. Just put in the right amounts of materials, let the machine mix them, then spray away.

Conclusion

A thin coat machine could cut cost and time it takes to apply plastering and other materials on the walls. It is definitely one of the best investments you could make if you’re in the construction and plastering business.
