How to Replace Parts on Your Rendering Machine

Whilst most rendering machines are built for longevity, you may find from time to time, that you need to replace the air compressor or generator.

Please Note: If you’ve hired a machine from our team, please don’t attempt to replace any parts. We kindly ask that you flag this to one of our experts who will advise on the best steps to take.

Here’s some tips to help you out:

• Identify the problem

  First, you’ll need to determine which part of your render machine needs replacing. Consider parts such as the air filter, pressure switch, check valve, regulator, or entire system.

• Safety first

  Before starting any machine replacements, please ensure the compressor is turned off and your machine is unplugged from the power source. Release any remaining air from the tank to avoid accidents, and ensure you wear the correct PPE for the job.

• Remove the old part

  Using the appropriate tools, carefully remove the damaged machine part.

• Install your new part

  Place your new air compression in position and secure. Refer to manufacturer guidelines to ensure everything is tightly fitted to avoid leaks or malfunctions.

• Test the compressor

  Plug the compressor back in and turn it on. We recommend checking for any air leaks or unusual noises to ensure your updated machine is working correctly.
