- Know Your Mix
Not all plasters and coatings are created equal. Graco machines like the APX can handle thick, fast-drying compounds, but your results depend on prep. Stick to materials that are specifically labelled for spray application, and make sure they’re well-mixed and lump-free.
- Dial in the Pressure
Graco’s SmartControl™ tech regulates pressure for a reason, so don’t override it. Always start with a test spray and adjust in small increments.
- Maintenance, Maintenance, Maintenance
Clean your hopper gun, filters and hose system after every shift – no exceptions. Dried-on residue shortens your pump life and kills efficiency. Stick to the manufacturer’s cleaning instructions.
