The PRB Range

Monocouche Renders

One coat render, through colour finish. PRB’s monocouche range is designed for speed and coverage – ideal for external walls where you want a decorative finish and weather protection in a single pass. Some of their popular products include PRB OZE Neige, PRB Superbrut and PRB Thermolook.

Thin Coat Renders

For more control over the finish, PRB’s thin coat systems can be applied over a base coat and finished with a silicone or acrylic top layer. These are great for jobs where movement might be an issue, like render board or EWI (external wall insulation) systems.

Base Coats

The backbone of a solid render system. PRB base coats provide the right adhesion for the job. It can be used as a prep layer for thin coat finishes, to level rough or uneven substrates, as well as ensure full system performance.

Heritage & Lime Renders

Blending tradition with modern performance, PRB’s lime render is ideal for heritage buildings or breathable wall systems where moisture movement is important. These are natural, flexible and aesthetically spot-on for conservation work.

Application Advice

With PRB Systems, it’s not just about the bags you buy. If you want the finish to hold up, you’ve got the follow the system. Below are some trade-backed tips to help you get the most out of your PRB products on site.

1. Prep Your Substrate

   Any good project relies on a solid base. Ensure the substrate is dry, stable and dust-free for the best results.

2. Mist Between Passes

   If you’re working in hot or windy conditions, lightly mist between passes to control suction. But avoid soaking it. Too much water affects colour consistency and the overall finish.

3. Spray Setting Matters

   Spraying PRB? Check your mix for pumability. PRB Monocouche is compatible with rendering machines, but we always recommend you run a test area first.

4. Temperature Rules

   Don’t apply below 5 degrees or above 30 degrees. Too cold and your render won’t cure; too hot and you risk early drying and cracking.
